Being a student in 1985, Thomas already discovered his affection for traveling with his backpack to new countries. He visited Nepal and was amazed by the fascinating nature and loving people. On many self-organized hiking tours in many different areas of Nepal (Annapurna, Everest, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Nar Phu, Gosainkund, Langtang ) he gained insight into many wonderful experiences as well as many heavy living conditions and realities of the people in Nepal.

Marcello is an ambitious hobby photographer and travelled to Nepal with Thomas in 2014 and 2017. With and also without his camera he absorbed the intense and diverse nature in Nepal and the Nepali life, which left a lasting impression. |
Dagmar Zweydinger, secretary

Dagmar got to know and also learned to love the beauty of the country, the warmth of the people and the traditional and religious values and believes of the people in Nepal on a hiking tour around the Annapurna-Massiv in spring 1999. |
Help currently needed!
Approximately 30% of the planned costs are currently missing for the ongoing project to build a school hostel (details of the project can be found here). If everyone contributes a small part, we can all do something about poverty in Nepal by supporting local education directly.
